Borsh Beach Albania , Sea View ( Video )
Borsh is a maritime village, in the Albanian Riviera, in the Lukovë municipality, Sarandë District, Vlorë County, Albania,Borsh borders with Fterra, Qeparo, Piqerras and has a population of 2500 inhabitants.
The region which Borshi is located was part of the Chaonia of the ancient region of Epirus. The castle remained in use in Roman times and was refortified by the Emperor Justinian in the sixth century. Nothing is known of the settlement in the Byzantine era, until it is mentioned as Sopotos in 1258 when it was part of the Despotate of Epirus tha grew out of the failing Byzantine empire. Borsh then went through a period of considerable turmoil, changing hands several times between the Despotate of Epirus and Norman crusades invaders before being taken by the Turks in 1431.
Fifty years later it was captured by Albanians led by Skenderbeg, but was retaken by the Turks only eleven years later and heavily refortified. On June 10, 1570 the castle of Sopot was taken by James Celsi, Proveditor of the Venetian navy, who left after leaving in charge the Greek commander of Nauplion, Emmanuel Mormoris. This also triggered part of the nearby Himariotes to submit to Venetian rule. The next year the Ottoman army recaptured it and took Mormori as a prisoner.
The fortress was renovated again by Ali Pash Tepelena, and it is these fortifications that visitors can view by taking the half hour walk up to the ‘castle rock’ the limestone mount clearly visible above the old village. During Ali pasha’s reign there were 700 houses at Borsh, and below the castle mount you can see a ruined mosque and madrese (a Muslim theological school), both of which were damaged in Ali Pasha’s wars but survived, only to be destroyed by fighting after 1912 when the Turks left the region.
Between 1912 and 1914 serious inter-ethnic conflict took place between Greeks and Albanians, and significant portion of the old village was destroyed, however some fine buildings remain. Modern Borsh was built after that, but became seriously depopulated, first due to malaria, and following severe reprisal killings by Germans in WW2 however, depopulation was balanced by an influx of refugees from Vlora, fleeing into partisan territory from the city which was heavily contested until late in the war.

The village is very stable and growing in prosperity thanks to tourism and olive oil production. The thing that makes Borsh very popular is its beach, which is the largest beach in Ionian sea (7 km).
The tourism has begin to develop a lot thanks to village's beauty and thanks to its friendly people. Continuing in this way Borsh will become soon the best destination for tourists in the South of Albania.

Powerful wave in Jones Beach Field 2 New York
Jones Beach State Park (colloquially, "Jones Beach") is a state park of the U.S. state of New York. It is located in southern Nassau County, in the hamlet of Wantagh, on Jones Beach Island, a barrier island linked to Long Island by the Meadowbrook State Parkway, Wantagh State Parkway and Ocean Parkway (Long Island).
The park is renowned for its great beaches, 10 mi (16.1 km) in length, facing the open Atlantic Ocean and furnishes one of the most popular summer recreational locations for the New York metropolitan area. It is the most popular and heavily visited beach on the East Coast, with an estimated six million visitors per year.
Nikon at Jones Beach Theater, an outdoor arena in the park, is a popular musical concert venue. The park also has a 2 mi (3.2 km) long boardwalk. It once featured dining and catering facilities that were popular sites for private parties and weddings; these have been shut down.
National anthem of Albania ( Video )
Himni i Flamurit is the national anthem of Albania. The words were written by the Albanian poet Asdreni (Aleksandër Stavre Drenova) but are merely different from the original Romanian lyrics which Andrei Barseanu wrote for Porumbescu's piece. The hymn was first published as a poem in Liri e Shqipërisë (in English: Freedom of Albania), an Albanian newspaper in Sofia, Bulgaria, on April 21, 1912. It was later printed in a volume of poems by Drenova titled Ëndra e lotë (in English: Dreams and tears), which was published in Bucharest.
The music of the anthem was composed by the Romanian composer Ciprian Porumbescu, originally for the song "Pe-al nostru steag e scris Unire" (or "E scris pe tricolor unire").
Lyrics and translation
There are two versions of the anthem: a long and a short one. Below is the text for the long version. The second stanza is considered as refrain and is repeated at the end. The short version makes use of the first two stanzas only and repeats the last two verses of the 2nd stanza. Usually, in sportive events among national teams, the short version is the one officially used. (The original poem has three more stanzas that are not part of the anthem – which are added at the end.)

Krujë (Definite Albanian form: Kruja) is a town in north central Albania and the capital of the municipality and the Krujë District. It has a population of about 15,900. Located between Mount Krujë and the Ishëm River, the city is only 20 km from the capital of Albania, Tirana.
Inhabited by the Illyrian tribe of the Albani, in 1190 Krujë became the capital of the first autonomous Albanian state in the middle ages, thePrincipality of Arbër. Later it was the capital of the Kingdom of Albania, while in the early 15th century Krujë was conquered by the Ottoman Empire, but then recaptured in 1443 by Skanderbeg, leader of the League of Lezhë, who successfully defended it against three Ottoman sieges until his death in 1468.
The Ottomans took control of the town after the fourth siege in 1478, and incorporated it in their territories. A 1906 local revolt against the Ottoman Empire was followed by the 1912 Declaration of Independence of Albania. In the mid-1910s Krujë was one of the battlefields of the conflict between the short-lived Republic of Central Albania, founded by Essad Toptani, and the Principality of Albania. In 1914 Toptani managed to seize the town but during the same year it was reincorporated by Prênk Bibë Doda in the Principality of Albania. During WWII was the center of the activities of resistance leader Abaz Kupi.
The museums of Krujë include the Skanderbeg museum, located in the environs of the Krujë castle, and the national ethnographic museum.

iPhone 5's record preorders, early lines
New York's Apple Store already has a line for the iPhone 5, Shazam gets into the IntoNow game, and HTC may unveil a new phone and tablet on Wednesday.
People are already in line for the iPhone 5 at the iconic Apple store in New York City. They lined up eight days before it launches on Sept. 21. But motivation to sit there isn't only fueled by fandom. It's fueled by marketing and media attention. The first guy in line hopes to promote his social networking app, Vibe. A few others are there sponsored by the electronics trade-in Web site Gazelle. There's also someone promoting his online financial service. On launch day you can expect more businesses taking advantage of all the fans and media outlets that are drawn to the event. It's typical to find companies giving away swag and food at big Apple Store launches.
But you may actually need a sleeping bag if you plan on getting an iPhone 5 on launch day and didn't preorder. A record 2 million iPhones were preordered in the first 24 hours. That's about double the first-day preorders for the last model, the iPhone 4S. One analyst is estimating sales could reach 10 million within the first week of it going on sale. If you don't feel like waiting in line, there's always the option to pay someone on Craigslist to wait for you.
If Samsung is more your style, a new model is on the way. The company said it plans to unveil the Galaxy S4 in February, and it will likely hit stores about a month later.
The app Shazam is known for helping you identify songs just by listening to a few cords. But now it can identify TV shows just by the audio. Once it identifies a TV show, it'll pull up cast info, actor photos, trivia, and social network buzz about the show. Shazam is now dancing on the turf of Yahoo's IntoNow app, which also identifies shows, has a social experience along with links to facts. But IntoNow creates endless screen captures for every show that you can share on your networks and add a caption, so it's a step ahead with that perk.
Wednesday will be busy. The morning starts with a new smartphone from LG, followed by an HTC event that could showcase smartphones and tablets. And that's also the day when Apple devices can download the upgrade to iOS 6.
